Five Records was founded in 1995 in San Jose, California with a single conviction: that the space between artist and listener deserves the highest possible fidelity. What began as a two-room tracking studio has grown and moved into the Central Valley Ideally located between Los Angeles, the Bay Area and Sacramento.
Over thirty years we've worked with artists and projects — from intimate singer-songwriter sessions to orchestral overdubs. The thread connecting all of it is an obsessive attention to the details that most people never consciously hear, but always feel.
Sound is the only thing that matters.
Transparency
We don't color your sound — we reveal it. Every decision in the room is made in service of the music, not the gear.
